Notice on the RoboMaster 2023 Final Tournament Seasonal Summary

Target participants: Teams that have advanced to the Wild Card Competition or Final Tournament

How to join: Participate as a team, and register by logging into the registration system with the Captain’s account

Submission period: September 23, 2023, 18:00 - September 25, 2023, 18:00

Submission opportunities: Once

Passing criteria: Scored 45% or more

Assessment scope: The submitted content is divided into the Technical Report and Season Summary. Refer to the Season Summary Judging Criteria in the appendix and the following template. The submissions should include diagrams and flowcharts, provide sufficient statistical data, highlight important points, and present ideas in a clearly logical manner.

  1. Technical Report: Refer to the RoboMaster University Championship Technical Report Template and submit a PDF document. There is no word limit.
  2. Season Summary: Refer to the RoboMaster University Championship Season Summary Template and submit a PDF document. There is no word limit.

File naming format: College/university name + Team name + Section name

Privileges for passing the assessment:

  1. Receives the Regional Tournament or Final Tournament certificate, proof of participation, and qualifies for prizes
  2. Teams that share their technical report in the “Seasonal Summary” section as open-source content, with scores ranking among the top of all open-source teams, will receive the Outstanding Season Summary Award and a cash prize of RMB3,000.
  3. As the content of Season Summary is highly relevant to the work of the team management team (including the Captain, Vice Captain,, and Project Manager), the score will be a key basis for the selection of Annual Outstanding Captain (Team) and Annual Outstanding Project Manager. The cash prize for the awards is RMB5,000.

  1. Open source deadline: Before September 28, 2023
  2. Open source content: Technical Report in Season Summary
  3. Teams from Mainland China: Log in to the RoboMaster Forum and post on the “Technical Exchange-->Open Source Compilation” subsection, with the post titled as [Technical Report + Team Name, College/University Name + RM2023 Technical Report Open Source]. The open source document should be attached to the post (no content and format restrictions). Note: Please upload the attachment directly to the forum and do not use expired cloud links.

Update and optimize based on some details in the technical plan in the Final Robot Assessment. Review the implementation of the technical plan based on battlefield performance, with a comparative analysis of the planned functions and actual battlefield effects, and conclude robot design experiences.

Team-building Analysis

Perform a post-mortem after the competition, and review the competition outcome against the team’s goals in terms of technical breakthroughs, planning and execution, match results, and other areas, analyze any actual discrepancy and its reasons, and conclude useful experiences from the building and management of the team.

Culture-building Analysis

Review the culture-building plan and goals for the whole season, analyze any actual discrepancy and its reasons, and provide useful suggestions for culture building.

Project Analysis

Review the team’s understanding of the rules and functional requirements for each robot type in its season plan, analyze any discrepancy and the reasons therefor, and conclude useful experiences from the team’s interpretation of the rules and analysis of robot requirements.

Team Structure Overview

Provide the team’s framework and member structure, compare the team’s composition at the start and during the competition, analyze the reasons for members’ departure, and conclude useful experiences from the building of the team as well as training and retention of new members.

Post-mortem of Basic Tools and Resources

1Review the resources and tools actually used against the available resources and tools, analyze any actual discrepancy and its reasons, and conclude useful experiences from the team’s utilization of resources and tools.

Review the team’s charter and rules formulated in its season plan, list out rules that were implemented and those that were mere formalities, analyze the reasons for such discrepancies, and conclude useful experiences from the administration of the rules.

List the academic references used for the competition, including patents, papers, open-source technical literature, etc. The amount of references provided will be taken into consideration in the assessment
