Announcement on the Postponement of RoboMaster 2022 University Series
2022-04-22
Dear RoboMasters,
The recent surge in COVID-19 cases and the resulting tightened epidemic prevention and control policies across the nation have posed severe challenges to the holding of RoboMaster competitions. Since March, RoboMaster Organizing Committee (RMOC) has maintained close communication with the organizers and continuously adjusted the competition schedule to meet the latest requirements for epidemic control. To ensure the safety of all participants and the smooth running of the competitions, the RMOC and the organizers have made the following decisions:
1.The Regional Competitions of RoboMaster 2022 University Championship (RMUC) and RoboMaster 2022 University Technical Challenge (RMUT), originally scheduled for May 23 through June 12, 2022, are postponed, so are the Technical Assessment and Participation Feedback for these events;
2.All divisions of the RoboMaster 2022 University League (RMUL), originally scheduled for March 25 through April 17, 2022, are postponed;
3.The RoboMaster 2022 University AI Challenge (China), originally scheduled for April 11 through April 13, 2022, is cancelled;
4.The arrangement for RoboMaster 2022 University AI Challenge (International) is adjusted.
The latest arrangements for the RMU are as follows, but further adjustments might be made due to the impact of the epidemic. The RMOC will keep you well informed if any changes. In view of the impact of changes on the participating teams, the RMOC will reorganize the participation feedback for RMUL later. Please stay tuned to the updates.
