ICRA 2018 DJI RoboMaster Referee System Manuals

2018-05-02

An essential part of the competition, the RoboMaster Referee System is similar to a Cyber-Physical System. During the AI Challenge, team robots must mount modules that monitor their status for several criteria, including as Health Points, projectile launching speed, and motor power. This data are transmitted back to the RoboMaster Referee System Server in real-time, then use it at the end of the match to automatically determine the results.

Teams will only be eligible for attending each match after the passing Robot Inspection. Therefore, while building, teams must ensure that the hardware ports and machinery holes for connecting and mounting the Referee System to every robot is available for inspection.

The RoboMaster Referee System conclude following modules:

l   Main Control Module

l   Small Armor Module ×4

l   Speed Measurement Module (17mm projectile)

l   RFID Interaction Module

l   UWB Positioning System(optional)

l   Camera Transmission Module (optional)

Teams must follow the Referee System User Manual to install the RMOC-issued Referee System correctly. It is every team’s responsibility to ensure that every robot passes the inspection process.
