I. Education Discount Application Process

  1. DJI sponsorship benefits application: Review the announcement "Announcement on DJI Sponsorship Benefits and Application Process ", complete the DJI sponsorship benefits application questionnaire linked in that announcement, and submit your benefits application and Taobao account registration.
  2. Eligible groups: Teams that have registered for and passed the registration review for RMU 2026  (including the RMUC and RMUL) or ROBOCON 2026.

For the ROBOCON-related education discount purchase procedure and the detailed list of items, see subsequent announcements.


II. Material Details

Special notes regarding the Referee System onboard modules:

1.The Referee System onboard modules are designed to serve the RMU competitions. The modules sold are the same as those used on the official website for the current season (see the competition rules and related documents for exact applicability). Future feature updates will be driven by the competition rules and may add or remove functions or change module support (some modules may become unusable after iterations). In addition, the serial protocol will be gradually reduced, with self-detectable data being removed.

2.The retail version of the Referee System onboard modules cannot be used in official competition. Teams are advised to prioritize using the onboard modules loaned/provided for the current season when preparing for competition to minimize procurement expenses.

Purchase channel suspension around the competition: Unless otherwise arranged, the email‑order channel will be suspended starting 15 days before the competition and will resume 5 days after the competition ends. For exceptional cases, please contact the event office via the official WeChat account (scan the QR code below).

Login to Taobao

Log in to Taobao, search for "RoboMaster 萝马集市" and enter the store. Select the items you need.

For teams participating in multiple RMU events, fill in one of the valid registration codes.

Register the Taobao account to be used for orders

1. Confirm the Taobao account your team will use to place orders this season. Once registered, this account cannot be changed for the season.

2. Account registration requires applying for DJI sponsorship benefits. See the announcement “DJI Sponsorship Benefits and Application Process” and complete the DJI sponsorship benefits application questionnaire in that announcement to apply for benefits and register your Taobao account.
1. If one team participates in multiple RMU events, only one account registration is required.

2. After submitting the questionnaire, the account cannot be changed, so please double-check before submission.

3. Register no later than November 30, 2025. If you miss the deadline, you will forfeit the Taobao discount purchase qualification and must use email purchase to obtain discounts later.

4.Questionnaire data are collected periodically; binding the discount to the account may take time, so please be patient.

Obtain discount eligibility

1. Use the registered Taobao account to contact the store customer service on Taobao and confirm whether the discount binding is successful.

2. Check “Appendix 1: Accessories and Discount Quota” to confirm and calculate the discount amount your team is entitled to.
1. Discounted items for the same team may only be purchased by the designated (registered) account.

2. If you have questions about your discount amount, contact the Taobao store customer service. Customer service hours: weekdays 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00 (China time).

Confirm the order

1.Transfer the amount corresponding to the quantities and totals verified by staff, and include your school name as the payment reference/memo.


2. Email the final purchase checklist and a photo/scan of the transfer receipt to robomaster@dji.com.

Email subject format: School Name + Team Name + Final Checklist&Payment Proof + Amount

3. The RMOC will verify the payment using the transfer information; once receipt is confirmed, shipment will be processed.
If the quantity purchased exceeds the discount limit, the excess items will be charged at the retail price.

Invoice issuance and after-sales (optional)

1. If you need an invoice, you can request it directly from your order record and fill in the invoicing information.

2.Invoices are expected to be issued within 10 working days after shipment and will be sent to the provided email address.

3. For after-sales service (repairs, returns, exchanges, etc.), read “Appendix II: After-sales Policy” and contact the Taobao store customer service for processing.

Order confirmation

1. Email the checklist file to robomaster@dji.com for review.

  • Email subject format: School Name + Team Name + Purchase List + Amount

2. The RMOC will reply within 3–4 business days to confirm the checklist.

3. Once the checklist is confirmed, the required inventory will be reserved (locked). If payment is not completed within 7 days, the reservation will be cancelled.
1. If you decide to cancel the purchase after submitting the checklist, please notify us by email promptly; otherwise the corresponding discount quota will remain locked and cannot be reused.

2. Do not make any payment until you have confirmed the order details and the total amount. Sales contracts or other verbal assurances are not valid grounds for payment; even after a contract is signed, payment should only be made after the order has been separately confirmed.

3. If a team pays before the order details have been confirmed and the payment is received with no matching order, shipment cannot proceed and the funds will be refunded via the original payment method. If a refund is not possible, the payment will be applied by completing a supplementary confirmation for the corresponding order; items on that order will no longer be eligible for the educational discount.

4. If your intended purchase includes both market‑priced items and discounted items, you must split them into two separate checklists and send them to the designated email separately; otherwise the email will be returned. After checklists are confirmed, payments for market‑priced and discounted items must be made separately and cannot be combined; otherwise shipment cannot be arranged.

Invoice issuance

(optional)

  1. If you have specific requirements for the invoice type, invoice title, or the invoice amount, please state them in the email when you submit the payment proof. If no requirements are provided, a regular VAT electronic invoice will be issued by default.

  2. Invoices will be issued after the goods have been shipped. The invoicing process takes approximately one week—please allow time for processing.

  3. Once the invoice is issued, it will be sent to the same email address used to submit the purchase checklist.

Contract Signing

(Optional) 

1. If your team requires a contract as proof of payment, please mark "Yes" in the "Contract Required" column of the list. Upon verification of the discounted quantity, the RMOC will contact your team to proceed with further arrangements.

2.Important: Please plan your purchase timeline accordingly. Payment and shipping can only be processed after the contract has been signed. Retroactive contract submissions are not supported.
Teams that do not require a contract for reimbursement may omit this step.
