Notice on the RMUC 2022 Final Robot Assessment

Participants: Teams from Hong Kong, Macau and overseas that have passed the RMUC Mid-term Progress Assessment can participate in this sesssion. 

Participation: Participants should participate as a team and log into the registration system with the Captain’s account.

Submission Time:

1.Final Robot Presentation: 18:00 p.m. July 4, 2022 - 18:00 p.m. July 6, 2022 (Beijing Time) 

2.Techincal Proposal: 18:00 p.m. July 15, 2022 - 18:00 p.m. July 17, 2022 (Beijing Time) 

Submission Opportunity: Once

Passing Criteria: All teams will be ranked according to their scores of Final Robot Presentation (video and PPT). A certain proportion of the top-ranked teams will pass this sesssion.

Assessment Requirements: Refer to the "Final Robot Assessment" chapter of the ”RMU 2022 Participant Manual“.

1.Final Robot Presentation: With reference to the “RMU 2022 Progress Assessment Criteria”, submit a video and a PPT document to show the plan and progress of each robot category with proof and evidence including video clips, screenshots of the progress plan, screenshots of the drawings, debugging records, etc. The table is for reference only regarding the scores that a robot can receive upon completing the building of certain functions. If a robot is designed with extra functions that are not listed in the table, extra scores will be offered accordingly. Therefore please present as much the progress that you’ve already made as possible.

2.Techincal Proposal: With reference to the "RMUC 2022 Technical Proposal Template“, submit a PDF document to provide detailed descriptions of the most technically advanced robot of your team. The full score of this section is 100.

Submission Requirements:

1.PPT document: 1) SimSun (Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), 24 pt; 2) Each slide must have a title that summarizes the content; 3) Display all content in Normal View and avoid using animations that requires to play the slides; 4) The file size should be no larger than 300M.

2.Video: 1) The video’s resolution must be at least 720p; 2) Subtitles or commentaries should be included to explain each process in the video; 3) Only relevant content should be shown, with the video well-paced and its duration kept within the maximum length of 5 minutes; 4) Upload the video to the specified website and provide the video link.

3,.PDF document: 1) SimSun (Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), 12 pt; 2) Line spacing: 1.5.

Right for passing the Final Robot Assessment:  Eligible to borrowing a full set of referee system and participating in the Regional Competition
