The RoboMaster University Championship is open to universities around the world. As long as you love robots and hope to show your talent and wit, you can apply for registration!

Starting a team

Participating teams should be affiliated to universities, gathering students from mechanical, electronic, control, software, computer, publicity and other related majors to form a research and development team. Participating universities must be full-time junior, undergraduate and postgraduate universities. Participants must be junior college students, undergraduates, postgraduates, or doctoral students enrolled before August 2021.
Number of participants per team: 10-35
Note: In principle, only one team in the same school is eligible to participate. Two to five schools that do not have their own teams can form an intercollegiate team.

Register for the competition

Login to the RoboMaster website and click the “Registration Center” to complete the registration of the personal and team information from 12:00 (Beijing time) October 15, 2020 to 18:00 (Beijing time) November 16, 2020. You can choose to create a new team or join an existing one.

Get support

Material Discount Support: Participating teams can purchase the materials required for the competition at the educational discount price, and can be exempted from the shipping and customs duties. Teams that meet the criteria can also enjoy an additional limited discount on the Standard kits. For more details, see RoboMaster 2021 Instructions for Purchasing Materials.
Travel Support: Transportation reception and accommodations are provided during the International Regional Competition and Final Tournament. A subsidy for round-trip airplane tickets will also be provided for oversea teams.
Participant Support: The RoboMaster Organizing Committee will provide overall support to participants, including team project management, commercial affairs, promotion and technological research and development. Technical assessment

In the research and development stage, participating teams must take part in the technical assessment by submitting videos, pictures, documents, etc. at the specified time to show the progress of preparation to the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee will decide whether the participating teams are qualified for the competition according to the progress of robot development embodied in each round of technical assessment. Additionally, teams that pass each round of technical assessment on time will receive further material support from the Organizing Committee.
For technical assessment specifications for Tier-1 and Tier-2 teams, see RoboMaster 2021 University Championship Participant Manual

Obtain qualification

Tier-1 teams and Tier-2 teams that have performed well in the technical assessment system will be qualified for the Regional Competition.
After fierce competition in the Regional Competitions, the winning teams will advance directly to the Final Tournament.

Q1: What teams are suitable for the RMUC?

A1: Teams that have made a certain level of achievements in previous seasons and teams with a lot of experience are recommended to take part in the RMUC. Teams that are in the front rank of the RoboMaster Score and Rank Chart for universities or teams that have passed the technical assessment in the current season will be eligible to participate in the Regional Competition and compete for an entry to the Final Tournament of the current season. For more information, see “Introduction to the Scoring and Ranking System” .

Q2: How to obtain the official information released by the Organizing Committee?
